Digital Radiography (X-Rays)                                                                                                    Digital x-rays have several advantages over conventional x-rays.  Using digital x-rays reduces radiation exposure to patients by approximately 75%.  And besides this great advantage, they are also quicker and more diagnostic.  We also have in our office a digital panoramic x-ray, which is great for checking wisdom teeth and overall mouth health...and without placing an x-ray film in your mouth!

At Beattie Family Dental, we have incorporated new technologies which minimize your expenses related to major tooth repair. One of the newest technologies is a small laser instrument called the DIAGNOdent, which scans your teeth with harmless laser light searching for hidden decay. This technology is completely safe and pain free. Finding tooth decay in the earliest stages allows your teeth to receive the most conservative, minimally invasive treatment possible.

CEREC
At Beattie Family Dental we are proud to offer the CEREC restoration. This is a high-tech CAD/CAM computer fabricated restoration that has proven to be strong, long lasting, low-abrasive, accurate, tooth-conserving and absolutely beautiful. Perhaps best of all, a CEREC restoration can be fabricated in one dental visit in our office, eliminating the need for temporary restorations, messy impressions, and a second visit to bond the restoration.

Intraoral Cameras
We use state of the art digital imaging to display images of your teeth right before your eyes on a screen mounted on the dental chair.  As the old addage goes, a picture is worth a thousand words.  With our intraoral imaging patients gain better understanding of their  dental problems.

CAESY Educations Systems
Our office provides CAESY which stands for Clinically Advanced Education System. CAESY is available to our patients in all of our operatories, our consultation room and in our reception area. CAESY presentations clearly explain the need for treatment, the treatment options, the consequences of delaying treatment, what the treatment entails, and home care after treatment.
